KSU 2026: Financial Planning
June 7, 2026 at 9:45 AM.
Join this class which will provide an overview of financial planning and then recommend some resources for your individual situation. This class will be presented by John 
Roalson, Gift Planner for the Texas- Louisiana Gulf Coast Synod.

KSU 2026: Talk Saves Lives
This class will meet June 13 from 3:00 – 4:30 PM.
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention will be presenting in both English & Spanish their flagship program, “Talk Saves Lives,” covering the scope of suicide, prevention research, and what we can do to help save lives.

KSU 2026: Plan Your Funeral
Pastor Beth will lead this class on June 14 from 9:45-10:45 AM. Things discussed will include:

  • Worship planning your service

KSU 2026: Book Club
Join the book club as they discuss the book Mother Emanuel on Thursday, July 16 at 7 PM in the CoffeeHouse.  Mother Emanuel is an epic tale of perseverance, not just of a congregation but of a people who withstood enslavement, Jim Crow, and all manner of violence with an unbending faith.

KSU 2026: Online Safety
The digital world is constantly changing—and so are the risks our kids face online. Join us for a FREE Internet Safety Class designed specifically for youth (ages 11–18) and their parents on June 17 at 6:30 PM. The class will be lead by professionals from the Texas Center for the Missing and will cover

  • Current online trends
  • Social media & app risks
  • Online exploitation awareness
  • Practical tools to help families stay safe.

KSU 2026: Men’s Mental Health Panel
This class will meet June 20 from 3:00 – 4:30 PM.
Men’s Mental Health Speaker Panel with past guests Dan Hornstein and Derek LaHair as they share their experience, strength, and hope on a variety of topics including men’s loneliness, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and more.

KSU 2026: Exploring the ELW, the Music of the Church
July 20, 2026 at 7 PM in the Choir Room
The Evangelical Lutheran Worship has been the main hymnal of the ELCA for 20 years this year. But how well do you know what’s in it? In this class we’ll explore the types of music in ELW, where they come from, and what they can teach us about our church traditions.
